This may take a few minutes to load. It is short.
Here are a few pictures as well as the video that
shows Snoopy's progress over the last year. It was
a year ago as of 9/23/06 when his ordeal started.
As you can see he is standing much
better than in the pictures from 10/2006.
Click here if you have not read his story
and seen his pictures from before.
Snoopy still has a wobble to his walk but
can run and climb stairs with little
difficulty. He can wag his tail pretty good
now and just recently has jumped up on
a chair without using his front paws to
pull himself up. He makes progress
everyday and never gives up. He is a
testament of what can be accomplished.
A year ago he was giving a 5% chance
of EVER showing any improvement.
Today he is almost completely over it
and I believe in another year he'll be a
100% again. Miracles can happen to
animals to!
This is George, Snoopy's best friend and
physical therapist. We were fostering
George last November and into the winter
and noticed that he seem to know exactly
how hard he could push Snoopy playing
and Snoopy made a lot of improvements
because of this. George became our 5th
dog and a member of the family in January
2007 in part because of this and because
he had  a great personality. He came from
The Wythe Co. Animal Shelter and was
rescued by the Wythe Co. Humane Society.
