When you buy a puppy you create a demand which causes someone to meet that demand as cheaply as possible with no regard to the animals well being. The adult dogs are kept in cages their entire life. Their feet and toes spread apart on wire cages so their waste can pass through with little or no cleaning as you see in some of these pictures. They live their entire short live without ever touching the ground until they stop making money and are killed. Pet stores get there puppies from puppy mills. No reputable breeder would sell to them. |
